Silicon Electronics was founded to solve a real problem: Nairobi residents had nowhere to turn when their television broke that offered both technical expertise and honest service. Too many repairs were done cheaply, with inferior parts, and no accountability. We set out to change that.
We established our workshop at Kang'ari Building on Luthuli Avenue — the heart of Nairobi's electronics district — giving us immediate access to genuine spare parts and a central location reachable from all corners of the city. From day one, our model was simple: diagnose correctly, quote honestly, fix properly, and back the work with a warranty.
Today, our certified technicians average over 8 years of hands-on experience, using professional-grade tools including oscilloscopes and ESD-safe workstations. We handle everything from a single blown capacitor to full screen replacements on the latest QLED and OLED sets. And we do it for all major brands — Samsung, LG, Sony, Hisense, TCL, Vitron, Skyworth, and more.
We've also built a reputation for adapting to Nairobi's unique conditions: power surges, dust accumulation, and humidity all create specific failure patterns we've seen and solved thousands of times.
